Thankful for new mercies every day



This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. This morning I awoke to one of those glorious autumn mornings that I love so much. I went outside to temperatures in the mid-50s, a bright blue sky with a scattering of interesting clouds and a hint of someone burning logs in their fireplace on the air. South Mississippi had its best fall attitude in place, promising a beautiful Thanksgiving.

His mercies are new every morning...
